Cinematic Pet Films, Made With Patience
Tails That Last creates cinematic pet memory films shaped around your pet’s real personality and the moments you never want to forget.
A glimpse of the quiet, story-first approach behind every Tails That Last film.
We had no idea what to expect. None of this was familiar to us, and honestly, we did not know what we wanted until we saw it. The TTL team was patient with Moo’s feisty energy, gave her time to settle in and just be herself, and you could tell Rob genuinely cared about capturing her personality and our bond. The finished film was beyond anything we imagined. We are so glad we did this with Moo while we still could. Thank you, TTL, for an experience and a film that we will cherish forever.
The Keepsake Short is a temporary introductory offer for early TTL clients.
It is an intentional, one-hour cinematic session designed around one beloved pet, in one meaningful location. The result is a polished short-form keepsake film, shaped around your pet's personality and the moments you most want to keep.
The Keepsake Short is intentionally not a full-length custom film. It is a focused memory piece, created with the same emotional attention that defines every Tails That Last session.
Temporary founding rate: $850 plus tax. This rate may retire at any time and does not apply to full-length custom films. A two-week planning window is requested whenever possible.
What TTL Is
Tails That Last creates custom pet memory films for pet owners who want more than phone clips. Each session is built around your pet's personality, favorite places, and the kind of memory you want to preserve.
Smaller sessions stay simple and intimate. Larger sessions may include interviews, multiple locations, drone footage, and deeper storytelling. We recommend the right scope after learning your pet's story.
Final pricing depends on locations, filming time, family involvement, drone use, interviews, and editing complexity. Every quote includes planning, filming, licensed music, editing, color correction, final delivery, and any sales tax listed separately.
Founder-led care. Tails That Last is built for pet parents who see their animals as family. Each session is planned with patience, privacy, and respect for the bond being preserved.
Most pet shoots focus on getting the shot. Ours focus on giving your pet enough time and space to be themselves.
Before we ever pick up a camera, we talk. About your pet's personality, your daily rituals, the moments that would hurt to forget. The shoot serves the story, not the other way around.
We do not stage animals into fake moments. We create the space, follow their rhythm, and wait for the real ones. That patience is what makes the film feel honest.
TTL films are guided by patient observation and the quiet details that make your pet feel like themselves on screen.
Our editing style is hand-paced, scored, color-graded, and emotionally driven. Cinematic with a documentary mindset, built around the pet you love rather than a template.
Our videographers are carefully selected for patience, professionalism, and visual judgment, then guided through the TTL process. The experience should feel prepared and calm from the moment we arrive.
Choose the level of storytelling that fits your pet, your family, and the moments you want preserved. The $850 Keepsake Short is a separate temporary introductory offer; full custom films begin at $1,400.
A short, heartfelt pet film at home, on a favorite trail, in the park, or in the backyard.
A cinematic film with multiple scenes and a refined edit, built for families who want their pet captured alongside the people who love them.
A deeper story built around owner interviews, observational filming, and a fuller portrait of who your pet is.
Currently featuring our most recent session, with more coming soon.

FAA Part 107 certified drone operators are available for aerial footage where permitted, including wide Washington landscapes, movement shots, and moments that benefit from scale.
The dog beach in the morning, the trail in the afternoon, home for golden hour. Stories that move feel like life.
A sit-down conversation with you about your pet: how you met, what they mean, the stories worth telling. Woven through the film.
Birthdays, gotcha days, family in the frame, the way they greet you at the door. If a moment matters to you, tell us. We will capture it.
For pets in a tender season of life, Final Chapter Sessions are available upon request and custom quoted. Each is handled with extra care, patience, and privacy. Please inquire if this is a service you need.
Every TTL film is delivered between three and eight minutes of finished, edited footage. That ceiling is intentional. We focus on the strongest moments and thoughtful pacing, not the longest film possible, but the most meaningful one.

Welcome to Tails That Last. By using our website or booking a session with us, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
Tails That Last creates custom pet memory films for pet owners in Washington State. Sessions are priced based on filming time, locations, interviews, drone work, and add-ons, and a full quote is provided before booking. Travel within the standard service area is typically included. Extended-distance locations, ferry travel, paid parking, permits, and remote in-state locations are quoted in advance. Out-of-state sessions are not available through standard booking.
After you submit an inquiry, we respond with next steps and, when possible, a quote. Your session is reserved only after the deposit is received and the booking is confirmed in writing.
Sessions are generally scheduled with a minimum two-week lead time between deposit and filming. This allows for planning, creative team scheduling, and client preparation.
Final Chapter Sessions for pets in urgent circumstances may be accommodated outside this lead time at our discretion.
Sessions are paid in two parts: a deposit that reserves your filming date, and a remaining balance with applicable sales tax due in advance of filming. Specific amounts, due dates, and refund terms are outlined in your service agreement at booking. Payment links are sent securely through HoneyBook Payments.
We work at your pet's pace. Sessions are designed around comfort, safety, and patience. Most finished films are delivered within three to five weeks of filming, depending on scope.
Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled for unsafe weather, heavy rain, or poor filming conditions. We work with you to find a new date that fits everyone's schedule.
The final film is delivered for personal use. You may share, post, and rewatch it. The film may not be sold, monetized, or used commercially without written agreement. We only display client work with written permission.

Our independent videographers hold their own insurance and required certifications, including FAA Part 107 for drone operators.
The owner is responsible for pet supervision, safety, and care during the session. Our videographers do not administer first aid or medical care to pets. If a first aid kit is available, it may be offered to the owner for owner use.
We reserve the right to decline or terminate a project if the working relationship becomes harmful, unsafe, or untenable for our team or the animal. In such cases, refund eligibility follows our Cancellation Policy.

Life happens. Pets get sick, weather turns, plans change. We have built our cancellation policy to be fair to both you and our team.
The earlier you let us know, the more flexibility we have. Cancellations made well in advance of your scheduled session are eligible for partial refund or full credit toward a rescheduled session. Cancellations made close to the filming date are non-refundable, as the deposit covers the assigned videographer's reserved time, planning, and the lost opportunity to book another pet owner on that date.
Specific refund eligibility, time windows, and rescheduling fees are outlined in your service agreement at booking.
If you need to reschedule rather than cancel, please contact us as soon as possible. Reschedules requested well in advance are generally accommodated at no additional cost based on creative team availability. Reschedules requested close to the filming date may incur a fee depending on circumstances. Full terms are outlined in your service agreement.
Outdoor sessions cancelled due to unsafe weather, heavy rain, or poor filming conditions are rescheduled at no additional cost. Weather cancellations are made jointly between you and Tails That Last.
If your pet is unwell, injured, or experiencing significant stress on the day of filming, we will reschedule without penalty. Your pet's wellbeing is the priority. Please notify us as early as possible so we can adjust the creative team’s schedule.
In the rare case that we must cancel a session due to illness, equipment failure, or other unforeseen circumstances, we will:
If a session is cancelled before the final balance is paid, only the deposit terms apply. Once the balance has been paid, the session may be rescheduled within a reasonable window outlined in your service agreement, but full refunds are not available.
Sessions are generally scheduled with a minimum two-week lead time between deposit and filming. Final Chapter Sessions for urgent or end-of-life circumstances may be considered outside this window. Please reach out directly at hello@tailsthatlast.com if you need a faster timeline.
Approved refunds are processed through HoneyBook Payments.
